ShareSCMHA 50/50 Update

Important Updates for this year's 50/50....A few reminders and changes for this season:
- The FIRST 50/50 Draw for this season will be MONDAY, OCTOBER 13th at 7pm.
- Weekly draws will take place on MONDAYS, with ticket collection from 5-7pm every Monday - please remind those purchasing tickets from you that we have changed our regular draw day this year to MONDAYS.
- Please drop your tickets in the Minor Hockey Drop Box any time the rink is open.
- If you need more 50/50 tickets to sell at ANY time, please contact scminorhockey@gmail.com to arrange a convenient time to meet.
- There will be NO 50/50 DRAW on Monday, December 29th becasue of the Christmas Break. Our LAST 50/50 Draw will be held on Monday, March 9th.
- For every green 'pre-paid' ticket you sell, please keep the money collected and turn tickets in for the draws. If you haven't received your pre-paid tickets yet for this year, please contact SCMHA to arrange pick-up.
- For every WHITE ticket you sell, $0.20 is credited to your 50/50 kitty account to go towards next year's registration. Your kitty totals will be posted weekly in the Minor Hockey Room - please check these periodically to ensure your totals are correct.
- For every WHITE ticket sold, $0.30 goes directly to SCMHA.
- We have been informed by NS Licensing & Gaming that we are unable to 'pay out' players if they do not return to SCMHA, nor are we allowed to give them their kitty money to spend on hockey gear, etc. SCMHA owns the lottery license and therefore all funds must stay in this association. This is the rule we must follow. Going forward, we are not able to reimburse monies raised if your player does not continue on with hockey at SCMHA. Consider 'donating' these funds to SCMHA or a player in need.
- Last year, our members retained almost $10,000 and used that money to lower their registration costs!
- This fundraiser can be as successful as YOU want to make it!
